Porridge Watson's 5th Birthaversary: The End of the World @ Porridge What's On

Description

After almost choking to death on a pistachio nut shell in Morocco in the late 70s. Porridge went to work for 3 months in a science lab working on a solution so this wouldn't happen to any other living being. It was a success. Porridge invented the bag of Pistachio Colonels. There was no need for anyone to interact with the shell of this near deadly nut anymore. Fast-forward to the 90s in New Zealand when Porridge's family were all riding high, Taco Philips was CEO of Para Rubber, his other cousin Saveloy Jenkins was the head of DEKA and Porridge was calling the shot at Dress for Less (later it changed its name to DFL) Things didn't turn out well for the family. With the whereabouts of his cousins unknown, Porridge finally met the love of his life and moved back to her home town of Pripyat. Again fortune was not on his side.
Porridge has had a bad run and feels things are turning sour again worldwide so has decided to suggest the theme of End of the world for our 5th birthday this year.
This year we welcome bands
Half Hexagon, Castlecliff Lights and Spacetrash with more to be announced.
