Dr Reknaw is the original music of songstress sisters Julia & Sophie & their beloved band brothers. Their blood harmonies, croon divine expressions that refresh and enliven the spirit, flying upon the most tasteful sonic blends of soul, reggae, hip hop & worldly folk which move and groove your total being.

Since the release of their album ‘Rektified’ in 2020, the band has been on hiatus, until 2023, when they were reborn with their EP ‘PORTAL’. Stripping it back, the music is deeply grooving with a sweet & gentle finesse, and as usual the lyricism both thought provoking, and enlightening.
