FRIDAY 31 JAN - PŌWHIRI & OPENING CEREMONY
Join us for the official opening of the 36th Downer New Zealand Masters Games! Meet us Majestic Square opposite the Games Village entrance on Watt Street to be welcomed by Te Taikura o Te Awa Tupua. Continue celebrating with live music from Rip Tide, followed by DJ Kit Lawrence to keep you dancing all night long.

SATURDAY 1 FEB - SATURDAY NIGHT LOUD
Kick off the night with Please Don’t Touch, followed by Come On Up, winners of the 2022 and 2024 Waiata Māori Music Awards. Expect a fresh reggae/rock fusion with a mix of your favourite hits!

MONDAY 3 FEB - NIGHT MARKET FREE FOR THE COMMUNITY
Access to the Games Village is free for everyone, our koha to the community for hosting the Games! Join us for daily activities and indulge in our vibrant night market featuring local street food and craft distilleries.
