Sophie will be performing this Sunday live at 5. Sophie did an exceptional job singing at the recent Dancing for Hospice event at the memorial hall in Whanganui.  Sophie is a 15 years old Singer / Songwiter.
Performing on stage has been a passion of hers since she was 5 years old. Through Sophie’s musical journey she has achieved a lot!!! She holds the title “Entertainer of the year NZ “for Country music on 5 different occasions. Her most recent achievement was winning the Intermediate section 13-18 year age gap ,at the Gore Golden Guitars 2024. This prize package included a trip to Tamworth Australia to perform in the NZ showcase.
On this trip she was awarded 1st place in the CCMA Talent Quest and 2nd place in the Golden Gig awards.
Sophie has produced her 1st EP “Believing” in 2023 and is about to release her 2nd album called Orange Skies this year!!
