Back home in Aotearoa and already warmed up with a stunning performance at Saturday's Going Global Artist Showcase, Proteins Of Magic will be embarking on an eight date nationwide tour happening from late September until mid-October. The audio-visual project of Nashville-based singer / producer / animator / performer Kelly Sherrod (Punches), Proteins Of Magic's debut album launched to significant acclaim in mid-2021 accompanied by a eye-popping variety of self-made animated music videos, earning a finalist placing for this year's Auckland Live Best Independent Debut Award.

Special guest for Dimmer's rapidly selling-out I Believe You Are A Star tour (beginning Thursday this week), Sherrod's solo adventure will treat punters to the full Proteins Of Magic experience in intimate venues from Tāmaki Makaurau to Ōtepoti — joined by dungeon techno trio Grecco Romank at The Wine Cellar, Adelaide Cara at The Crown, and Class War On The Dance Floor plus Heleyni at Pōneke's Pyramid Club.
