"WE WILL NOT CEASE" Archibald Baxter film for PEACE on ANZAC Day. Join us to view "Field punishment No#1", a powerful NZ film made in 2014 (100 years since the start of WWI). Based on the memories of ARCHIBALD BAXTER (father of poet James K. Baxter) "WE WILL NOT CEASE", who was a Otago farmer & conscientious objector. Archibald was one of thousands of NZ'ers who were against "the great war/World War I". On ANZAC Day, let us remember that War & all others since, although disguised as heroic & patriotic are also the cause of inter-generational trauma, ecological destruction and massive profits for armament manufactures (then & NOW). Please bring friends & whanau to watch this film together (it is no longer available on the Internet).
