Club Night hits again!  THE LEGEND THAT IS CORBEN SIMPSON
Whanganui has the privilege of hosting the living legend that is Corben Simpson on Friday, 2 Feb at our first club night of 2024. He is joined by outstanding drummer Simon Graham. The duo has been performing around Tauranga, and we are thrilled to lure them down to our city. Corben’s pedigree is remarkable, with a vast repertoire of original songs spanning 50 plus years of songwriting that includes the New Zealand hit single “Dance All Around the World’ that he composed when working with Bruno Lawrence and Blerta. His illustrious career includes meetings with the likes of Ravi Shankar, Kenny Rogers and King Charles of Britain (when he was the Prince). He toured New Zealand as a duo with Michael Nesmith (famous for his role with the pop rock band the Monkees). Then there were collaborations with Billy TK and Manawatu singer Mahia Blackmore, to name just a few.  See you there e te whānau!

What you need to know...
- Open Mic kicks off at 7pm till 9pm.
- Door charge $15 non members, $10 members.
- BYO Food and drink.
- Performing musicians get in for free, make sure you get in early to get your name on the board.
- You can become a Club member for $30.00.
