Kia ora whanau,
This event is part two of a 2-part event, “Flying Prayers for Palestine.”
Flying kites has been a symbol of hope and resilience for the children of Gaza for decades. In 2011, more than 12,000 children in Gaza flew kites on the beach, setting a new world record for number of kites flown simultaneously.
We're at Phase 2!
After we’ve built our kites on the Wednesday 24 April Kite-Making Workshop, then it’s time to FLY !
Bring your loved ones down to Castlecliff Beach on Sunday 28 April between 1-2pm and let’s fly our hope and prayers for Gaza.
Prepare for an hour of watermelons and flags and prayers and community care
