Learn to dance with flames – an introduction to fire spinning hosted by Whanganui Movement Collective.
Where: Riverside picnic area in James McGregor Memorial Park (Southern End of Kowhai Park). Small carpark is adjacent to the cycleway next to the grassy spot
When: Wednesday’s 7th & 14th August @ 7 - 8:30pm
Who: Open to all. No experience needed. Limited to 15 per session
Cost: $5 (cash or bank transfer)
Notes for attendees:
Dress Code: We will be playing with fire in winter so dress warm and relatively firewise. Synthetic materials and loose, dangly clothing & hair might get burnt. But rug up for the depths of winter’s darkness. Ground will be wet underfoot.
All props, toys, fuel, and safety equipment will be provided but if you have your own props, feel free to BYO
